Pedro Point creative is proud to feature pan-Asian entertainment, created to enhance and tailor your event. We proudly specialize in both modern and traditional Chinese cultural arts, which will entertain, and delight–no matter what type of function you are planning. Imagine being greeted in English and Chinese by beautiful and costumed hostesses wearing traditional Peking opera costumes during the arrival of your guests. To increase the ambience during your event, we offer a variety of entertainment, which includes, but is not limited to lion dancing, origami, calligraphy and a musical trio. Our entertainment is designed to explore your needs, and the possibilities are endless! No venue is too small or too large for our entertainers to perform. Hostess/Greeters Beautiful costumed greeters who wear traditional Peking opera costumes during the arrival of guests. Chinese and English spoken. $200 per greeter Calligraphy Names translated into Chinese characters on a silk or paper fan, or, small polished rock. Calligraphers dressed in traditional attire and use traditional horsehair calligraphy brushes and ink. Great gifts, party favors, and souvenirs. $200 first hour – price includes silk or paper fans, or small polished rock. $150 additional hour Instrumental Trio Set the tone with soothing background music. Our professional musicians will play traditional Chinese songs with traditional Chinese instruments such as the Er Hu (Chinese violin), Zither and/or Butterfly Harp. $200 per musician for the first two hours $100 after the first two hours Lion Dance and Kung Fu Demonstration Welcome your event or party and dazzle your guests with lion dancers. Lion dancing is an ancient Chinese tradition to begin and end a celebration. Lion dancers ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune and luck. Our amazing lion dancers and percussion troop will awe your guests. $550 for one lion head and a cast of 8-10 performers $125 for an additional lion head $250 for a Kung Fu demonstration Noodle Maker Your guests will be amazed to watch our noodle maker take a ball of dough and, with a little twisting and pulling, make strands of beautiful, silken noodles ready for cooking. We will be happy to provide additional entertainment on request, such as fortune teller, noodle maker, walk-around magician, paper folder (origami), and cartoonist.
